Sandown Dental & Implant Clinic

33-35 Sandown Rd, Belfast BT5 6GT, UK – 028 9047 1070

Professional and friendly advice, guidance and treatment. Brilliant dental practice that I am happy to recommend.

I have found the Sandown Dental and Implant Clinic to extremely patient focused with all efforts being made to accommodate the needs of the patient and the customer care is exemplary. The staff are all of the highest quality and even though I had a lot of work to be done, having not been to a dentist in 17 years, I found the experience to be as painless as was humanly possible, with the work itself being exceptional. As I mentioned, I had not visited a dentist in a number of years due to an unhappy experience before, but this is not something I need to worry about at the Sandown clinic, and I have happily joined the Practice Plan and now make regular visits.

Bryson Street Surgery

City East, 72 Newtownards Rd, Belfast BT4 1GW, UK – 028 9045 8722

I am on holiday in Belfast (heading for NZ & Aus this Fri) and felt really unwell last night. This morning I tried several surgeries to get an emergency appointment. The receptionist @ Bryston ST was very helpful, took my details and said a Dr would ring me back. He rang me about 1/2 he later and having listen to my symptoms have an appointment for later that morning. When I got their the receptionist were very efficient and Dr Green very professional. An excellent service and many thanks for the help and advice.

i dont have any problem with bryson street surgery, unlike mr peters,i have to wait for an appointment to see my doctor in this practice. as far as the staff, both clerical, nursing and medical cannot be faulted in any way, rather they should be complemented on the tasks asked from them, from people who cannot get it through their thick stupid and ignorant heads just what is going on with the health service since 1979,that was when the rot set in because of the thatcherite government were put into office swearing on stacks of bibles that the health service would never be altered or changed in any way shape or form, and what happened after about six months? yes,you got it.both the health service and the coal mines were the first to be mutilated. look at the city hospital for god,s sake, answer me this one question please, who knows of a hospital that size close the emergency department, and the mortuary were both closed, and that is just for a start.so dont run down your local g.p. surgery for poor service, because they have to bear with the backflow from hospitals who cand help them because of cutbacks, adding more and more pressure on all g.p.'s and their staff.so go ahead mr philips and leave bryson street surgery and pay for your health care twice over.

Find Recycling Centres

Palmerston Road Recycling Centre

Palmerston Rd, Belfast BT4 1PD, UK – 0800 032 8100

Helpful staff. Clean. Lots of recycling options.

Giving 5 stars as is a easy access dump to recycle your goods and majority of staff helpful if you need advice. But I must agree with last review about one worker he is a overly large man about 5:9 to 5:10 in height wears glasses usually has hat on around late 50s early 60s this person should not be allowed to work in contact near general public as he is a arrogant ignorant person many people I know who use this recycling centre hate going in when he is on duty there is always one bad apple to spoil the apple cart as they say.

Man & Van Belfast

13 Grove St E, Belfast BT5 5GG, UK – 07763 653563

We needed some items moved from house to house and I didn't know who to ask. Contacted these guys due to favourable reviews and very glad I did. 5 Stars well earned - arrived at pickup dead on time and delivery was perfect. Jamie and his colleague were a pleasure to deal with and we will hire again. Very highly recommended!!

These guys helped me out of a tight spot when someone else had cancelled on me and came at short notice, were professional, helpful, efficient and careful. Highly recommended.

E Twin Rd, Belfast BT3 9EN, UK – 028 9045 7556

Wonderful time dealing with the folks down at clearways Belfast, and in Portadown as well!

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Belfast

Olivers Restaurant

405 Upper Newtownards Rd, Belfast BT4 3LH, UK – 028 9067 1105

Delicious food, and nice vibe. Good selection on the menu. Myself and friend had the thai curry which was very nice although very hot. We shared a sticky toffee pudding which was awesome. It was very light and no bits of dried fruit, accompanied by a delicious sauce. I was very happy to find they had alcohol free beer and the decaf cappucino i had was the best coffee Ive had in Northern Ireland. We always seem to get scalded by hot drinks in NI but the temperature was perfect. Highly recommend a visit to Olivers.

Absolutely fantastic food and cocktails. Friendly staff with 1st class service. Would recommend everyone has this experience
