As a customer for over 5 years I have always found the staff to have been professional, knowledgable, courteous & helpful.. but most off all friendly !.. Creating a nice atmosphere to do business and often going the extra mile when needed! I couldn't rate the staff at this Barclays branch high enough and hope to be a valued customer and deal with them for many more years to come!

Dental Surgeries

Sandown Dental & Implant Clinic

33-35 Sandown Rd, Belfast BT5 6GT, UK – 028 9047 1070

Professional and friendly advice, guidance and treatment. Brilliant dental practice that I am happy to recommend.

I have found the Sandown Dental and Implant Clinic to extremely patient focused with all efforts being made to accommodate the needs of the patient and the customer care is exemplary. The staff are all of the highest quality and even though I had a lot of work to be done, having not been to a dentist in 17 years, I found the experience to be as painless as was humanly possible, with the work itself being exceptional. As I mentioned, I had not visited a dentist in a number of years due to an unhappy experience before, but this is not something I need to worry about at the Sandown clinic, and I have happily joined the Practice Plan and now make regular visits.

Really professional service, arrived early and worked non stop. James and team really pleasant to deal with and took the hassle out of the moving process. Really helpful and worked to reasonable rates, no hesitation in recommending or using again.

We needed some items moved from house to house and I didn't know who to ask. Contacted these guys due to favourable reviews and very glad I did. 5 Stars well earned - arrived at pickup dead on time and delivery was perfect. Jamie and his colleague were a pleasure to deal with and we will hire again. Very highly recommended!!

Horatio Todd's Bar & Restaurant

406 Upper Newtownards Rd, Belfast BT4 3EZ, UK – 028 9065 3090

Well now, took Mum out for lunch. Haven’t been here in a while. Picked a booth next to the bar. Staff attentive and came for drinks order and to leave menus. Something you don’t see everyday was the crispy fried chicken with sweet waffles and maple syrup. Comes with a side of coleslaw and hot sauce. Don’t ask me how but it works and boy does it work. First piece of chicken very dry but the second piece was delicious. Added a side of garlic chips with Parmesan cheese. All in all 4 out of 5. Price not too bad for lunch. Plenty of lunch eateries round here all touting for your business. Inventive lunch menu at Horatio Todd’s will see me back.

Service and food were both below average. No drinks order taken, no kids menu given, specials not communicated, kids dishes weren't taken and their ice-cream was forgotten about. We had to constantly remind the server. Food was average, my burger was very bitter - from the cheese? Needs balanced with a sweet sauce. My wife's '8hr slow cooked' roast beef was tough. I don't understand how slow cooked beef can be tough. Wasn't a good experience. Visit was Saturday 24th March at 6pm.

Baker Street

20-22 Belmont Rd, Belfast BT4 2AN, UK – 028 9065 3000

Lovely staff, a gorgeous atmosphere which is rare when dining on my own, and the food is superb. I highly recommend the duck! I regularly come in here at all times of the day alone with my baby in her pram and can enjoy a breakfast or indeed a lunch and a glass of wine at ease. My favourite place in the Belmont area by far.

Fantastic meal here on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great. Our food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We were really pleased with the wide range of choices on the menu. The staff were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely visit again

Nursery and Preschools

Ravenscroft Nursery School

Ravenscroft Ave, Belfast BT5 5BA, UK – 028 9047 1684

Both sons attended Ravenscroft and took their first steps into education, social ability and guided fun. Whilst five years apart, the ambience of the nursery remained. The fears of every parent are soon dispelled as reassurance for the children and parents is highly promoted. The urge to hide behind 'mummmy' soon is diminished as welcoming staff relax all and with bright surroundings, toys a plenty and freedom to roam and learn, at this point parents reminisce about youth and realise that memories are created within the walls of the nursery. Staff accept all children and acknowledge that they are individual with a unique personality which is allowed to develop, correctly and not according to the beliefs of an out-dated manual. Everything is right, the interior, the exterior, the location and most importantly the attitude. Memories are made and my two boys are strong, mannered and free-thinking, thanks to the excellent staff of Ravenscroft and magic their formula. Thank you Ravenscroft 😁

Our son was pupil there. Nice and clean place.

Primary and Secondary Schools

Ashfield Boys High School

Holywood Rd, Belfast BT4 2LY, UK – 028 9065 6812

I did my time and I suffered from the experience, it felt like hell and yet I made it. The mind of a 11 year old boy may find the place intimidating and in a way horrifying, but with the right friends and a few supporting teachers this place can feel like home which is never too far away from your heart. This place isn't perfect, but then again where is? I have seen geniuses come through these hallow grounds and become special in their adult years, yes all things are possible with hard work and within these grounds, hard work will be put into practice with the teachers who will give you their all. There are many things in life which can't be taught from reading a book or surfing the web, but the 5+ years spent in this asylum will give you the biggest preparation of all of life's struggles.
