Comfortable, clean and great choice of films. You can spend a little extra and go for the recliner chair but it's really not necessary as the standard seats are really comfortable. Toilets are clean, staff are friendly. As is standard the snacks and sweets are expensive.
Lots of screens and dead comfy chairs. Movable arm rests so cuddling is easier. Take a cushion or pillow for extra comfort. Ticket booth is now out of commission. They can be purchased at refreshment stand.

A treasure of a cinema in a beautiful building just beside the many eateries of the Belmont road and beside the Park Avenue Hotel. The Strand is as old school as they come and only made the transition to digital projection in recent years. They regularly run seasons of old classics you wouldn't normally get the chance to see on the big screen so it's worth checking their listings to see some of your old favourites.
Went to see Mamma Mia 2 (as part of meal deal with Park Avenue hotel). Nice quirky old-style cinema. Great fun night.

Hands down my favourite cinema in Belfast - have started going here more often because the programming seems so much better than other cinema's (Bangor/Dundonald etc.) - there's often multiple daily screenings of new releases which is very convenient. I love the aesthetic, it's always clean and the staff are very friendly. Worth going VIP for the free parking - but you can still collect points on their loyalty card even if the screening isn't a premium one.
The cinema is starting to feel tired. The seat arms are becoming saggy and have big indents in them. It's not awful yet, but unless the place is shown some love it soon will be. Not put off coming back yet, but it's certainly something that's on my mind. There's newer cinemas that, although not as convenient for parking, they are in better condition. The VIP option is still pretty good. Why does this country not have cinemas with in-seat ordering yet... Even via an app would be a cheap way in to that market... You're missing a trick here!

She has received excellent first class training. The staff are amazing and she has made many friends that I know she will have for life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bspa to anyone!
